WAIT TIMES

How long is the wait?

We do not provide updated wait-times electronically.  There are peak periods in the early mornings including the weekends.  We generally have 2 -3 doctors as well as a Nurse working simultaneously and a dozen rooms within which we simultaneously assess and treat patients.  We are open continuously from opening to closing hours with no scheduled work stoppage or breaks when we are closed.

Wait times can vary based on acuity, triage priorities as well as Clinic policies to facilitate flow for some routine items.

TEST RESULTS / APPOINTMENTS

Can I get my Test Results over the phone without coming in?

When is my Appointment with the Specialist?

For Medico-legal and Privacy reasons, we DO NOT provide Medical advice, Specialist appointment dates or times or Test Results by Email, Telephone or other Web services. Sensitive information deemed to personal, private, or confidential will be delivered in person or via the last registered mailing address.

Our Staff make telephone calls to apprise patients about ABNORMAL test results only. You may come in at any time to obtain copies of your lab results during Business hours without an appointment.

Should you wish to discuss your test results with a Physician on Staff, you may do so by registering onsite and you will generally be fast-tracked.

Medical care is complex and is best effected through a personalized history, physical assessment and the development of a diagnostic and therapeutic strategy.

We encourage you to bring your medical concerns to our qualified medical personnel in person at one of our two Clinics in the K-W area.

TRIAGE

How do you decide who is seen next?

We see patients on a strictly walk-in basis.

You DO NOT need an appointment  and you may visit us as at a time that is convenient for you.

Patients are
generally seen in the order of arrival and assigned randomly to the Doctors working that day to balance Physician workload.

From time to time, we have some true emergencies that necessitate immediate attention and the occasional ambulance transfer to the hospital.

There are a few exceptions where we fast-track patients:

1) Regularly scheduled weekly/biweekly injections such as Allergy desensitization shots, B12 injections, Depo-Provera injections, Flu shots, non-routine immunizations such as Tetanus and Rabies,TB skin Tests, injections for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Psychosis, etc.

2) Liquid Nitrogen Cryotherapy for Warts

3) Follow-ups after procedures performed at the Clinic such as minor surgeries, wound care, suture removal, packing and foreign body removal from the eyes.

4) Patients called in by our staff to discuss their Test Results who present without needing further clinical evaluation.

5) Routine diagnostic evaluations for studies ordered previously such as X-rays but done on a later date due to logistical issues
